Hello Fellow Birders, As some of you already know the DNR is conducting bird surveys on Northwestern Minnesota Scientific and Natural Areas (SNA's). I (Melissa Driscoll) am coordinating the project and I would like some help with three SNA's located in Kittson, Roseau, and Polk Counties. These are far from my home office in Fergus Falls and I am getting to them only once a season. The SNA's in need of more frequent visits by birders include:
Lake Bronson Parkland SNA, near Lake Bronson in Kittson Co. Two Rivers Aspen Prairie Parkland SNA, near Pelan in Roseau Co. Malmberg Prairie SNA, west of Crookston in Polk Co. If any MNBird or MOU folks live near these areas and are interested in helping identifying and listing birds seen there, please contact me at the phone number or email address below.
