Thought is was unusual to have flushed a Mourning Dove from a nest on the ground. Probably makes more sense for that to happen out here on what was once the prairie, however this upland location in Lyon County is cluttered with 10-20 acres of trees and shrubs of varying heights. Roger Schroeder
