<html><div style='background-color:'><DIV class=RTE> <P>I would guess that this may be the first record of breeding trumpeter swans in this part of the state. I saw this morning an adult TRSW with at least 3 cygnets near Freeport, MN. They were on a WPA approx. 1 mi. North of Stearns CR 17 on Stearns CR 36. It is a fair sized pond (20 acres?) on the West side of the road. The birds were on the North end of the pond in or near the cattails.<BR><BR></P></DIV></div></html>
