I just wanted to let people know that the Crane Creek area near New Germany, Carver County is perfect for shore birds - extensive mudflats and shallow water. We saw many individuals of the following: Semipalmated Plovers; Least, Semipalmated, Pectoral, Solitary Sandpipers, Great & Lesser Yellow Legs.
