On the way back from seeing the Kittiwake and Thayer's Gulls this morning, we drove past a Northern Shrike sitting on the Robbinsdale sign, on the right, heading north on Hwy 100, just before the N. 42nd Street sign. This was at 12:45 PM. The shrike was tearing some prey species to pieces as we drove by.
Happy birding! -- ________________________ Matthew Bribitzer-Stull Asst. Prof. of Music Theory University of Minnesota
