Late this afternoon I found a Wilson's Snipe at Seven Mile Creek County Park in Nicollet County. Seven Mile Creek has open water from the park entrance to the parking lot where the road ends. The bird seemed to favor hiding among the larger rocks in the creek and was very skiddish. On the south side of the creek there is a footpath that parallels the creek. I suggest walking this to see or, more likely, flush the bird.
