Had some good luck at both Clouquet and Hedbom Rd. today. Two of the Gray-crowned Rosy Finches showed up at 12:25PM. They hopped around, on, and under two trucks parked in front of the blue building. At Hedbom Rd: female Black-backed W.P., male Three-toed WP, female Hairy WP, Rough-legged Hawk, and BC Chickadees - 2:00pm at 3.3 miles west of the 5 road corner. two Ruffed Grouse - 5.3 miles west of 5 road corner. Northern Shrike - just west of east gate at 3:45pm and a flock of Snow Buntings - just east of the east gate. Nice to take advantage of a mild winter in Northern MN. Met birders from Sleepy Eye, Edina, Carlton, and Duluth.
