This morning at 8 am on Lake CR 2 just 1 mile North of the Sand River sign Susan Schumacher and I were able to enjoy a male Spruce Grouse picking around out in the road for 15 minutes before an oncoming truck flushed it into the trees. We were happy to have seen this one alive and kickin' since the afternoon before at 2:30 pm we had found another male dead roadside in the same general area. The roads are clear and in great driving condition!
