Birding time has been at a premium the last 7-10 days, so very much appreciated a lunch time drive near Sherburne Refuge that produced a Northern Goshawk (Ann Lake/Sand Dunes access road, about 2/3 of a mile east of CR 5) and a Great Blue Heron (marsh at corner of CR 1 & 87).
Good birding to all - looking for an excellent Saturday birding spot - hmm, Aitkin or St. Louis Counties for northern misses... or chase that unreal Gyr on 180th again...or the ducks near Prescott...or...? Al Schirmacher Princeton, MN Mille Lacs & Sherburne Counties
