Touch of spring this morning at the Sherburne CR 1 & 87 marsh - Accipiter species chasing breakfast far too quickly for certain ID - Crows alternately harassing a Red-shouldered Hawk and Bald Eagle - Canada Geese & Trumpeter Swans in the small stream.
Understand winter plans to reassert itself again this evening. Plenty of white here already. Heading to Mankato Thursday through Saturday (snow permitting) for the CAL Basketball Tournament (two of my teens play HS ball) - any birds of interest in the area? Noted that the Green-tailed Towhee is still present in Mountain Lake - would anyone still have the specific address? Good birding to all!
