With apologies for the tardiness of this message, a few of you may be interested to know that yesterday - Sunday, 8 October - there was Surf Scoter at the Albany sewage ponds. The scoter was either a female or a first-fall male, and was in the largest pond (which is also the southwesternmost pond).
