Currently finishing "The Grail Bird" (Ivory-billed Woodpecker search) - find it both enjoyable & relatively convincing.
So, now that the intensity of the emotional conflict over the existence of the woodpecker(s) seems to have abated a bit, would you describe yourself as convinced, contemplating, or skeptical? And why? Good birding to all, and a blessed Thanksgiving to many on this late November day (whether you're chasing the Ross' Gull in CA, seeking winter finches & owls in the northern Midwest, laboring in the office, or elsewhere). Al Schirmacher Princeton, MN Mille Lacs & Sherburne Counties (giving thanks for a strong birding year here in central/northern MN)
