Today I found a female Black-backed Woodpecker on CR 128, 1 mile east of Hwy 6, next to the gate leading to the Deer River stabilization ponds.
I also saw a Northern Shrike on CR 128 and saw my first Common Redpolls of the season in Cohasset.
