Snail Lake Park is in Ramsy Co. I went to the N part near Ramsey Co 96 and Rice St. Lots of activity there today. White throated sparrows - several Catbirds, yellow warblers, rose breasted grosbeaks - all very vocal. A flock of cedar waxwings (also there last Tues) A few yellow rumped warblers today. A close-up view of a common yellowthroat. Too bad I could only stay a short time :(
This seems to be a good park for birds. I've only been there for a short time on 2 occasions and there seemed to be lots of activity both times. I haven't seen much of the park yet - the trails go for miles......lots of choices for habitat -
