The Whip-poor-will reported last night from Elm Creek Park Reserve in
Hennepin Co. was singing loudly and continuously from 9 - 9:15 PM tonight
(5/6). It was located just north of Elm Creek Road almost directly across
from the entrance to the nature center. Easily heard from the road (I
would guess no more then 25-50 yards away). Thanks to Warren for the nice
directions on a bird I never thought I'd encounter in increasingly
developed Hennepin County.
