Strong migratory movement in Pioneer Park (Princeton/Mille Lacs County) this morning, including an early singing Connecticut Warbler.
Personal new arrivals for year during the 40 minute walk this morning also included: Least Flycatcher - Great Crested Flycatcher - Blue-headed Vireo - Wood Thrush - Gray Catbird - Nashville Warbler - American Redstart - Ovenbird - Baltimore Oriole. Still only seven warblers in this wave, next week or so should prove interesting! Just a reminder for those who have signed up for the MOU Sherburne Refuge Field Trip - meet on Saturday the 20th, 7:00 AM on Mahnomen Trail (along CR 9). If you any questions or concerns, feel free to email me. Good birding to all! Al Schirmacher Princeton, MN Mille Lacs & Sherburne Counties
