I was in High Island, TX, April 25th-May 1, a week later than I usually = go, but it turned out to be a good choice as migration on the Upper Texa= s Coast had been very quiet prior to my visit (migration on the UTC usua= lly peaks April 15-May 15). So perhaps migration is just later all-arou= nd for some reason this year?
This is purely anecdotal information, also I don't know what the birding= on the UTC has been like since my trip. Cyndi Elias
