Bye bye Starling does not work on grackles and redwings. It is only for starlings. Instead you should buy Safflower which is not liked by any of the blackbirds but is eaten by cardinals, chickadees, grosbeaks, and a few other species. Yes, you will have less activity but you will have some cardinals and chickadees.
