I have been to the park several times and still can't find anything specifically when I go based on the directions. I don't know the names for the places and the trails don't make any sense to me. I have gotten so lost every time and while the experience is great, I would like to not find myself on some horse trail and have to walk a mile to get back to the parking lot. Could anybody provide a map with location and trail names that are commonly refereed to in these emails? My frustration level at driving all that distance and not seeing what I went for is keeping up here in the far north in the land between Fridley and the North Pole. I have tried to use the maps provided at the park but unless they have been changed somehow I still can't find the areas commonly referred to by the birding frequenters. I have heard from others the same frustration and getting lost experience. Maybe it is some form of birding passage.
Help me if you can I'm feeling down. And I do appreciate your being round. Help me get my feet back on birding gro-o-u-und. Won't you please, please help me. Help me. Help me-e-e-e-e Oooooo. Thomas Maiello Spring Lake Park
