The baby needed a nap which is a great excuse for some drive-by birding. It paid off. The gyr was on a power pole at the intersection of 42 and 55 where the geese were congregating at about 5:05 pm. This is the intersection where 42 separates from 55 and runs to the north. ...and the baby got a good long nap. Life is good.
