Allan Bier saw an Osprey flying over Giants Ridge Ski Area, near Biwabik, central St. Louis County, at about 11 Saturday morning. He was teaching an intermediate group of Canadian skiers when an 8-year- old student spotted the bird. It was the first Osprey Allan has seen this year. He continues to see Bald Eagles frequently between Virginia and Biwabik, and we have seen one often around Silver Lake in Virginia. Anne Bier
