This morning I was at Lake Byllesby in Dakota County at 7am enjoying the new arrivals that had pushed in overnight. There were 58 American White Pelicans, and 23 Tundra Swans. The Greater White-fronted Geese and the Ross's Geese were still present in the hour I scoped out from the lower west side, but it was misting and windy out there this morning making it much harder to see the distant mudflats.
