The Black Vulture was present this morning at the Afton marina until 8:40 at which time it ascended and drifted south down the valley with the other vultures. Some birders tried chasing after them of which I am not aware of their results. A clarification of the aforementioned directions is that Hwy. 95 South occurs miles west of the river valley whereas Hwy. 95 North occurs at the valley and is the same as St. Croix Trail.
