This morning I returned to the Afton marina area to see if this is a regular roosting site for Turkey Vultures. It seems to be as there were about 30 that trickled out of the pine grove behind City Hall, which is a block north of 31st. St. S. The first ones departed around 8:00 and the last around 10:00; I had arrived at 7:30. Yesterday they became active much earlier. But alas, no Black Vulture was found among them this time.
