Dear Friends and Potential Birders: The Friends of the Morris Wetland Management District would like to cordially invite you to our 6th Annual Birding Weekend Event being held on May 5-6, 2007 in Morris, MN. Registration will start at 10:00AM on Saturday, May 5th at the Morris Wetland Office located four miles east of Morris on Co Rd #10 (New 911 address is 43875 230th Street). The guided coach bus tour will begin at 11:00AM and return at 4:00PM. A catered dinner will follow at our local Senior Center to share the day's sightings and preview Sunday's events. Following dinner is a power point slide presentation by our expert guides. On Sunday, May 6th, the tour bus will leave the Wetland Office @ 7:00AM and return at noon. Please come prepared to have a great time, and learn from some of the best birders in Minnesota while we visit some of the great birding locations in West Central Minnesota. Birds of the northern tall grass prairie and crack bird guides Bob Janssen, Jerry Bonkoski, and Doug Buri are among the draws to join us. Registration fee is $25.00.
