There was no sign of the horned grebes on either Lake Gervais or Lake Vadnais today. There were 3 ruddy ducks on the Rice Street side of Lake Vadnais, though, plus some shovellers. On the deep part of the lake there are still a number of loons. We also saw a single cormorant.
