5/1/2007 Enjoyed a short walk on the Lake trail and the trail by the King Blind at Carver park this afternoon. It was also fun watching the flock of Sparrows feeding on the ground behind the Lowry Nature Center. I also checked out the New Germany area and found the area full water with no mud flats and the only shorebird present was a single Solitary Sandpiper. Here are a couple of the highlights.
