Hi all, Thank you to everyone who responded to my question about where to find, online hopefully, the locations in which to bird in Minnesota. There was quite a bit of information provided to me, and I thank you all. The consensus seems to be that one should purchase Kim Eckert's book, which I will most definitely look into.
As usual, I have found a real good way to bird is while driving. So far, on my way to work, I have seen Ruddy Duck, Green Heron, Great Egret, Red-tailed Hawk, American Kestrel, and Double-breasted Cormorant, to name but a few. We (my wife (the good birder in our house) and I (the other birder in our house)) both hope to see you out there in the field. We were going to go on the field trip Saturday to the Minnesota Valley NWR, but when it started raining, we headed home. Good birding, Richard Richard L. Wood, Ph. D.
