Wally Swanson saw three singing Henslows Sparrows in Rice County today, Wed. May 9, about noon. They are located in Sakatah State Park. From Morristown, go west on Highway 60 about three miles. Turn north onto LeRoy Ave.(a gravel road) Go north about 1/2 mile. On your right or east you will see a Center Point Energy well. Look north for two Bluebird houses, one white and one gray. One sparrow was singing here. In the opposite corner by Bluebird houses # 3 & 4 was another singing sparrow and also by Bluebird houses # 5 & 6 yet another singing Henslows Sparrow. If you are coming from the west on highway 60, LeRoy Ave. is about three miles east of the Highway 13 & 60 intersection at Waterville. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
