At 4:00 pm today(Saturday) I stepped into the woods at the Bryant/Oak Grove
entrance of Woodlake Nature Center, immediately heard the Black Throated Blue
Warbler (it is the call that you don't recognize from any of the other spring
bird songs), walked a little ways along the left hand path way that runs along
the fence, listening carefully. Within a few short yards the beautiful bird was
right overhead, out on a limb as plain as can be, singing for all he was worth.
Oh what a gift he is.
Do go and see this bird if you are at all able.
Thank you to all who have been reporting this bird so faithfully.
