Yesterday, Tuesday, May 22, Gary Ash and I observed 5 singing male
Black-throated Blue Warblers and two females along the loop at the top of
Oberg Mtn., north of Tofte, MN in Cook County. There was one male at the
beginning of the loop and the others were along the trail going to the left
where the loop begins.

We also had fabulous looks at the following warblers at Oberg Mtn. (most
were singing loudly and were at eye level!)
Black and White
Chestnut-sided
Black-throated Green
Magnolia
Canada
Ovenbird
Wilson's Warbler
Blackburnian
Am. Redstart

Noticeably absent were Yellow-rumped Warblers!
