Chris Wood called to report a 1st year Little Gull at Park Point at the 12th Street access this morning.
Yesterday Denny and Barb Martin reported a Piping Plover at Hearding Island seen from 24th Street, a Red-throated Loon near the Park Point pumphouse, two Whimbrels from the Park Point recreational area ball fields, and four Black Scoters and a female Ruddy Duck at Lafayette Square/31st Street. Larry & Jan Kraemer found a Northern Mockingbird, female Ruddy Duck, and American White Pelican at 40th Ave. West in Duluth on the 25th. I also heard from the homeowners in Little Marais who had the Painted Bunting, and they have not seen the bird since Wednesday the 16th. Jim Lind
