this Sunday, June 3rd I will be leading a MRVAC field trip: Dakota County Prairie Birds, starting at 7am at Schaar's Bluff at Spring Lake Park off of CR 42 west of Hastings. We will be looking for grassland birds in some of the high quality prairie tracks in Dakota County. Come join us. We will be mostly birding from the side of the road. Here is a chance to see many of the difficult to find and ID birds of the grassland. Free and open to the public.
