On my way to Bemidji today, I stopped to bird along Winnibigoshish Lake and was excited to find a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher sitting on a wire about 100 yards from the lake at the Bena access to Winnibigoshish immediately west of Denny's resort. This is the same access that hosted the Purple Sandpiper last fall.
