The PIPING PLOVER at the Sleepy Eye sewage ponds was still present this Monday morning at 6:15 a.m. John Ellis arrived there before me and had already found the Plover on the gravel bar. We received almost 3 inches of rain overnight so the water level in the ponds was up but there is still exposed gravel for the shorebirds to forage on.
