Spent about a hour birding by the MN River north of Sleepy Eye yesterday. I had four Dickcissels singing on power lines along Golden Gate road.
Directions: From the intersection of HWY 4 and Co. 30, go east 1/2 mile and turn south. The road goes down hill. Continuing south, come back up the hill and when the road curves east look for the birds on the lines that run east-west.
