Scott Barnes, a visiting birder from New Jersey, called the Duluth RBA to report a Loggerhead Shrike he saw on June 11 in Sax-Zim. It was north of Meadowlands in the fields along CR 29, about a mile north of CR 133.
Today Scott also saw a pair of Sandhill Cranes in the same area, as well as a flock of 20 Red Crossbills about a mile south of the northern end of the McDavitt Road (CR 213). Jim Lind
