For the 4th straight year, the Peregrine Falcon near my house in Bovey has returned. Once again, it also has orange plumage from taking dust baths and possibly breeding in the mine pits. In past years, the easiest place to see this bird has been at the top of the antenna on the hill in Bovey. Just find Bob's IGA and look up the hill and you can't miss it. Prior to 7 am has been best, but it has been present at other times and on other tall perches in Coleraine.
