While conducting a Breeding Bird Survey yesterday (Sunday, June 17th) I observed a Swainson's Hawk in Wabasha county along Wabasha County Road 4, 1/2 mile south of CR 25 at the Plainview Power Station. This is 1 - 2 miles SE of Plainview. I don't know the status of Swainson's Hawks in Wabasha county but it's the first one I've ever seen there.
