It looks like the "fall" shorebird migration has already begun in the  
Twin Cities. This morning on the extensive mudflats at Chaska Lake  
were about 65 Killdeer, 7 Lesser Yellowlegs, and 13 Least Sandpipers.  
The habitat looks excellent right now and should remain so into August  
if not later.
