I visited Chaska Lake yesterday evening and found good numbers of shorebirds
were still present. As Bob Dunlap posted last week, the majority were Lesser
Yellowlegs, Killdeer, and Least Sandpipers. Also present in small numbers were
Greater Yellowlegs, Stilt Sandpiper, Short-billed Dowitcher, Spotted Sandpiper,
Solitary Sandpiper, and Pectoral Sandpiper.
