I was startled and somewhat excited recently when I looked out my window to see a large 'hummingbird' on my nectar feeder. Once I put on my glasses I realized it was a chickadee taking a sip of the sugar water. So, birds develop sweet tooths also. I hope this "new" habit doesn't result in obese chickadees.
