"Rare but regular" -- that's what Sibley calls an American Crow with "variable white wing-patches."
If you're interested in seeing one in the SW Minneapolis area (close to I-494), there's one hanging out with a couple of other crows at the intersection of Scenic Heights Drive and Mitchell Road (Rt. 60) in Eden Prairie.
