"Birked" (biked and birded) the trail twice today, with quite a few more migrants:
-Yellow-bellied Flycatcher (1 hanging out somewhat high in trees) -Many more emphid's; possibly both Willow and Alder -Gray-cheeked Thrush (at least one, possibly two) -Blackburnian Warbler (1) -Blackpoll Warbler -Northern Waterthrush (2+) -C. Yellowthroat The warbler species count is at 12 today. Failed to relocate 3 species from yesterday. Also present was juve R-B Grosbeak, a hummingbird, a Warbling Vireo singing quietly (a little late for singing?), and many annoying Red-eyed Vireos that got in the way of my warbler-watching. Also young catbirds and song sparrows out and about. E-mail for questions. What a nice, sunny day, compared to yesterday. Good birding!
