Its late and I forgot to post this till now - sorry. The two Whimbrels that have been sporadically seen in the last two weeks were seen again today at the ballfields at Park Point. I spent an hour or so scanning the lake from Lafayette Square on a brisk NE winds and saw no jaegers or small gulls. I did see several Common Terns move up and down the beach. No shorebirds were noted.
