On Saturday evening, Sept 1st I observed a Neotropic Cormorant near the south end of Lac Qui Parle Lake, Lac Qui Parle County. The bird was on the rocks about 500 meters from the west shore of the lake. There are several spots to scan these rocks from Lac Qui Parle State Park. This individual is a juvenile or first-summer bird.
