Greetings from the wet woods along the Straight River

Saw a flock of birds fly past our north kitchen window this morning. When
they flew back toward our apple trees I saw they were CEDAR WAXWINGS. They come
in about this time each year. Saw a similiar flock fly by yesterday but did
not get to identify them, but I now think they were Cedar Waxwings. I didn't
see them come to the apple trees. What with so many leaves still on the trees
is is difficult to see how many birds there were. I counted at least 10. They
will build up to 30 , more or less. The apples are fully ripe as yet.
