The juvenile Western Sandpiper was still present at the Sleepy Eye sewage ponds this morning. Take Hwy. 4 south of Sleepy Eye about 1 1/2 - 2 miles. Once you pass an auto salvage yard on your right the entrance is about a quarter mile south on the left. The bird is being seen on a gravel spit on the NW pond on your left near the entrance.
