Today, I stopped at the creek that flows out of Lake Hiawatha to search for the
YCN. I found 4 juvenlie Black-crowned Night-herons right away. After much
looking I refound the Yellow-crownsd Night-heron. It was well hid but the
charcoal gray back and the all black bill was observable. It was on the north
side of the creek in a tree.
