Drove out to Osakis Lake after school was let out this evening. Six Surf Scoters in with a small group of coots, another alone....along the east side frontage road along Hwy27, none w/ stark male plumage. Others, Common Loons, Bonaparte's, Pied-Billed, 15 Western Grebes, a few thousand coots. Did not locate the Long-tailed Ducks.
